I’m your Clarksville TN photographer, military spouse, and mom of three.

I moved to Clarksville, TN with my husband and our four-year-old in 2020. Soon after we arrived, we found out I was pregnant with our baby girl. Five years, a dog, and a third baby later, this is the longest we’ve lived anywhere. As a mom of three and a military spouse, I know how busy, imperfect, and ever-changing life can be. That is exactly what I want to capture for you. No matching outfits or Pinterest-perfect setups. Just your family, together, as you are right now.

I picked up my first film camera when I was twelve and never really put it down. I went on to earn a BFA in photography and film in 2011. With twenty-five years behind the lens, my work has grown into a mix of gentle elegance and emotional storytelling. I’ve had photographs published, awarded, and displayed at the Corcoran Gallery in D.C., but what matters most to me is documenting real families and real life.

My sessions are relaxed and intimate. We might be at home, at the park, or doing something fun like playing in the sprinkler. I’ll offer a little direction when it helps, but mostly, I’ll be your shadow — there to notice the small moments and turn them into photographs you’ll want to hold onto for years.

What’s Halide?
(Silver) Halide is the light-sensitive crystal in film that makes an image possible. Pairing it with “Heart” felt right because my work is both technical and intuitive. My background in film and fine art sharpened my eye, and years of experience have shaped the emotional intuition I bring to every session. Halide creates the image, heart gives it meaning.
