What to Expect

Sessions are intentionally planned but relaxed, allowing real moments, connection, and everyday life to unfold naturally. My goal is to create timeless photographs that feel like home and bring you back to what this season actually felt like.

I don’t expect performance or perfection. You never need to apologize for muddy clothes, snack breaks, or meltdowns. I’ll stand back and notice or guide you with gentle direction. Expect a gallery full of quiet details and little moments you will be grateful to have years from now.

Your Experience

Your session should feel effortless and take place in a location that means something to you. Whether we are at home, in your backyard, or exploring somewhere you love, I’ll be there to document it with intention. Here’s how the process works:

  • Choose the collection that fits your season. You’ll then receive a contract and invoice for your retainer. After your date is secured, I will send over a short questionnaire that helps me understand your family’s personality, routines, and the kind of moments you want photographed. This helps us keep the session relaxed and personal.

    Collections begin at $550 and are all-inclusive with high-resolution digital files + film scans and print release.

    Bespoke heirloom + keepsake items are available for purchase within your gallery store if desired.

  • There is no pressure to make your home look perfect. Light tidying helps, but lived-in spaces photograph beautifully. For outdoor sessions, I will guide you toward time of day and locations that give us the best light. I also share simple wardrobe suggestions that keep the focus on connection, not outfits. I’m happy to deep-dive into wardrobe if needed.

  • Sessions unfold naturally. I guide when it is helpful and stay quiet when life starts happening on its own. Kids can be themselves. Babies set the pace. You do not need to perform or entertain the camera. I am there to document your story with presence and care.

Hi! I’m Kerry! I’m your Clarksville, TN family photographer

I’m a mom of three feral kids who teach me daily how fast seasons change. My work lives somewhere between documentary and editorial to honestly capture the story of your life as it is right now. It’s a mix of quiet observation, gentle direction, and an eye for the small details you might not notice in the moment.

I shoot both digital and film because I love how the two mediums tell a story together. Film slows everything down and brings a softness and character that pairs beautifully with real family life. My background in fine art and years of photographing families help me create images that feel grounded, emotional, and timeless.
